Duvillard History

Henri Duvillard - A living legend

The alpine skier, Henri Duvillard has marked the history of his sport during the 70’s.

He still is one of the seven men who have won three different events in the world cup: Downhill, slalom and giant slalom. His biggest victory remains the prestigious and mythical Lauberhorn downhill, in Wengen Switzerland. He has been the only French skier to win it since 1970.

1969 – Megève (France) – Downhill
1970 – Wengen (Switzerland) – Downhill
1970 – Sestrières (Italy) – Downhill
1971 – Madonna Di Campidio (Italy) – Giant slalom
1972 – Bertchtesgaden (Germany) – Slalom
1973 – Megève (France) – Giant slalom

Philosophy

In 1979, Henri Duvillard created the trademark DUVILLARD, gathering the values on which he had built his own career: elegance and technique. What strikes first with DUVILLARD is the harmony of the concept in which design gets along wit functionality. The core values of the brand are: luxury, elegance, high standards and a love of detail.

Each season, tailor’s know-how together with the expertise of an accomplished ski champion give birth to a new collection that meets the highest requirements in terms of comfort and functionality.

Jackets, pants, jumpers, underwear and accessories: DUVILLARD has remained true to its time-honoured luxury brand message and to its love of detail.
